He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shirley Mello (Dias); his children, Monica Deneault (Damian) of Hudson, NH and Donald J. Mello of New Bedford; his grandchildren, Alyssa Deneault, Jennifer Savary, Nicholas Deneault, Carolyn Deneault, Christopher Mello and Elizabeth Mello; his great grandchildren, Aria Savary, Sydnie Bradfield and Jaxon Bradfield; and his sister Carol Groves of Tiverton. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
