Ackerman; his wife Margaret; his children, Julia Glenister (Christopher), Janet Fuhrmeister (Kurt) and Robert Peter Ackerman; his grandchildren, Kara (Jack), Geoff (Ksu), Morgan, Marc (Nina), Devon and Ian; his great grandchild Finn; and his pets, Zelda, Labrador and Jude.
