With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Stanley Chicka of New Alexandria, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 5, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Chicka and Sara Chicka (Stepanovich); his wife Gladys Evelyn Chicka; and his siblings, Mildred Dovyak, Milton Chicka, Daniel Chicka, Nicholas Chicka, Radie Chicka and Michael Chicka.

He is survived by: his sister Darlene Deskins (Harold) of Columbus Ohio; his children, Michaelene Makoutz (George) of Taneytown, MD, Christine Chicka (Wayne Criado) of Layalhanna, Janene Madden (Glen) of Irwin and Robert Chicka II (Allison) of Derry; his grandchildren, Marissa, Ricky, Ashley, Thomas, Corey, Jesse and Rose; and his great grandchildren, Carrick, Clara, Dolores, Declan, Liam, Jack, Charlee and Charlie.

Memorial contributions may be made, if desired, to the American Cancer Society.
