He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd E. Ellis and Katherine Ellis (McCabe). He is survived by: his wife Helen D. Ellis (Hayes) of New Alexandria; his son Chris R. Ellis of Latrobe; and his brothers, Daniel Ellis (Donna) of West Virginia and David Ellis (Kim) of Manassas.
