He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James and Dorothy Hultin Luther. He is survived by: his parents, Donald R. Luther Sr. and Deborah Holmes Luther of New Alexandra; his daughter Camryn Luther; the mother of his child Rachel Jones; his grandson Axel; his brother Donald Luther Jr.; his nephew Matt; his niece Stephanie of Spring Church; his brother Johnstown; his grandparents, John Holmes Sr. and Carole Crispell Holmes; and his pet Mercy. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
