It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta Marie Smith-Lutz of New Albany, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 18, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Captain J. Richard Smith (Sandy Hook Pilot) and Geraldine Marie O'Shea Smith; her husband James Lloyd "Jim" Lutz; her daughter Deborah Ruth Lutz; her granddaughter Verity; and her pets, Rudy, Nimby and Blue.
She is survived by: her children, James, Kristine, Jessica, Leslie Assante (Salvatore), Robert, Stephen (Stacy), Danielle, Michael, Mary Rose and Heidi; her grandchildren, Keith, Seth, Antonio, Christian, Ayanna, Mattia, Kiara, Lyric, Gabriella, Jameson, Abigail, Amelia, June Rose and Augustus; her nephew Richard; and her pet Rory. She is also survived by her husband, 11 children and 15 grandchildren.
The family suggests that contributions may be directed to the Regional No-Kill Animal Shelter, 117 W. Fulton St., Gloversville, NY 12078 in memory of Roberta Marie Smith-Lutz.
