He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Norman and Ruth Letitia Collar Sykes; his daughter Lisa Ann Edgerton; and his brothers, Harry Norman Sykes Jr. and Bobbie Sykes.
He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Weston Myers, Andee Shaw, Quinn Shaw, Hailey Hicks and Madisyn Hicks. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
