He was predeceased by: his spouse Emily Gazdick (Yuskauskas); his parent John J. Sr.; his son John Joseph III; and his sisters, Mary Hadnagy and Ann Gazdick.
He is survived by: his parent Pauline Gazdick (Stianche); his children, Lisa Gazdick of Ambler, Gail and Gary of Nesquehoning; his sisters, Helen Mulligan, Margaret Kattner of Jim Thorpe and Ella Gruber of Palmerton; his grandchildren, Brandee, Tim, Jamie, Casey, Ilya and Ulyana; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Riley, Harper, Dylan, Madison, Ava and Lawson.
