She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. "Sonny" Kovatch Jr. and Helen Kovatch (Yelito). She is survived by: her husband George H. Beury; her mother-in-law Elizabeth Beury of Pine Grove, PA; her children, Josh J. (Melissa) of Nesquehoning and Lisa Russo (Garrett) of Alexandria, VA; her siblings, John J. Kovatch III (Sharon), Marianne Meixell (Ivan) of Jim Thorpe, PA, Judy Kovatch and Kathy Reaman (Ric) of Nesquehoning; and her grandchildren, Ben and Luca Russo.
