He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Hosier (Shelley); his parents, George Hosier and Ida Hosier (Arner); his son George P. Hosier; and his siblings, Arnold Hosier, Gerald Smith, Bessie Hosier Andrews and Mary Smith Ondush.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Hosier of Lake City, FL, Sheryl Solomon (Edward) of Halifax, PA, Connie Mertz (David Welsh) of Lansford and Doris Parker; his stepdaughters, Dina Bellisfield of Billings, MT and Louise Williams (Bob) of Palmerton; and his siblings, Thomas Smith (Ginny) of Bowmanstown, Nevin Smith Jr. of Palmerton, Barbara Smith Hunsicker of Lehighton and Carol Smith Hunsicker of Jim Thorpe.
