She was predeceased by: her husband George J. Tessitore Sr.; her sons, George Jr. and Steven; and her siblings, William Getz, Dorothy Horn and Helen Polischak.

She is survived by: her sons, Dean Tessitore of Nesquehoning, Chris Tessitore and Noelle of Sugarloaf; her daughter-in-law Helen Tessitore of Lansford; and her brother Halbert Getz. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
