She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold R. Klingensmith and Florence M. Gibb Klingensmith; her husband James H. Brest; her brothers, Glenn Klingensmith, Joe Klingensmith and William Klingensmith; her grandson Benjamin Thomas DeCarbo; and her great grandchild Westley Paul Dougherty.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy DeCarbo (Bo), Roberta Marburger (Jim) of Cochranton, Cindy Harper (Rick Robinson) of Ft. Worth and Pam Sculthorp of Flagstaff, Arizona.; her grandchildren, Eric Robinson, Kevin Robinson, Julie Dougherty, Natalie DeCarbo (Mike Malley), Dr. Jacob Dougherty (Sara), A. J. DeCarbo (Heather) and Robyn Olson (Steffen); her great grandchildren, Colin Dougherty, Marin Dolquist, Archer, Edison Olson, Scarlett, Josephine DeCarbo and Lucille Dougherty; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Klingensmith. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
