We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2024, at the age of 89, Robert F. Melder of Neshannock, Pennsylvania, born in New Castle, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Melder and Anne Melder (Doyle); his wife Mary Lou Melder (Flamino); his daughter Julie Penny; his son-in-law James Barge; and his brother Jack Melder.
He is survived by: his children, Robert F. Melder, Jr. (Faunda), Neshannock Twp, Trevor F. Melder of West Monroe, LA, Lisa Barge and Jaime Moran (Rick) of Linesville, PA; his son-in-law Steve Penny; his grandchildren, Andrea Wagner (Dennis), Matthew Barge (Megan), Maxwell and Grant Melder; his great grandchild Leyton Wagner; and his siblings, Mary Ann Nelson (Walter), Kathleen Stewart (Jim), Elizabeth Aiello, Rita Torgerson (John) and David Melder (Janet). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the City Rescue Mission, 319 South Croton Ave., New Castle, PA 16101.
