He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Sankey and Blanche Sankey (James); and his siblings, Virginia Wiland, Jacqueline Polomsky and Floyd Sankey (Hannah "Susie).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Datish; his children, Lydia Sankey (Donald Richards) of Boston, Mass. and Joshua Sankey of Jersey City, NJ; and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth Wiland of Warren, OH and Francis "Fritz" Polomsky of Warren, OH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
