She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Data and Helena R. Zielinski Data; her husband Ralph "Buck" Houk; and her sister Sandra Lee Ostrowski. She is survived by: her children, Marcie Fuerscheach (Phil), Shari Houk (John Rask) and Jerry Houk (Amy); her brother-in-law Ed Ostrowski; and her nieces and nephews, Kim, David and Adam Ostrowski. She is also survived by four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
