She was predeceased by: her parents, Herb Lykins and Stella Lykins; her husband Chester L. Smiley, Jr.; her brothers, Daniel Lykins, Herbert Lykins, Joe Bethle, Frank Bethle and George "Peck" Bethle; and her sister-in-law Claudia.
She is survived by: her children, Chester Smiley, III of New Castle, Leslie Stoddard (Gary McCollums) of Edinburg and Brad Smiley (Janine) of New Castle; her siblings, Gary Lykins (Diane), Patty Brown and Betty Fotia; and her sisters-in-law, Murielle Bethle and Carol Bethle. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
