She was predeceased by: her parent Joseph A. Brown. She is survived by: her parent Emma E. Brown (Simpson); her son Jeffrey Winter (Patricia) of Hertford, N. C.; her grandson Thomas J. Winter (Seema Lakdawala); and her children, Maya (Asha), Stephen Bradley Winter MD (Carla), Addison of Winston-Salem, N. C, Hudson of Winston-Salem, N. C, Mason of Winston-Salem, N. C and Timothy N. Winter.
