She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Powers and Helen Powers (Patterson); her siblings, Lawrence Powers, Bernard Powers and Elizabeth Litostansky; and her son-in-law Joseph Thomas.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Serafin; her children, Theresa M. Thomas (Mark Style) of Collegeville, PA, Reverend Joseph "Jay" Serafin (Jamie) of Williamsburg, VA, Jacqueline M. Galutia (Hondo), Timothy J. Serafin (Carol) of Lexington Park, MD and Michael S. Serafin (Pilar Mongion); her grandchildren, Anthony Ferraro and Nicole Sklaroff; and her children, Hondo Galutia, Kimberly Labe, Shayne Serafin and Paxton Venditti. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (1600 Fowler Ave, Berwick, PA 18603).
