She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren R. Forsythe and Jasamine Forsythe (Shiner); her husband Howard "Howie" Carter; her former husband John A. Pfromm; her son-in-law Carl E. Pauff; her brothers, Warren W. Forsythe (Thelma) and John "Porkie" Forsythe (Suzanne); and her nephews, Dale and Eugene Forsythe.
She is survived by: her children, John A. Pfromm Jr. (YongSun), Bret Pfromm (Shelly), Cynthia L. Pauff, Lime Ridge and Vonda K. Yoder (Bryan); her grandchildren, Matthew Yoder, Rebecca Yoder, Julie Walter, James Pfromm, Jonathan Pfromm and Candice Slack; her great grandchildren, Grace, Carly and Sarah; her grandchildren, Calvin, Vera, Jade and Benjamin; and her nephews, Willis Forsythe (Susan) and Roy Koch (Barbara).
