Elmes of Nescopeck, Pennsylvania, born in Berwick, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 17, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack L. Eveland and Florine G. Eveland (Kershner); her husband James David Elmes; her son James "JJ" Elmes; and her brothers, Stanley, Robert and David.
She is survived by: her children, David Elmes (Patrice) of Shelton, WA, Scott Elmes (Tammy), Zenith, Susan Smith (Jeff), Diane Wyda (Mike), Dorrance, Sarah Zehner (Steven), Nescopeck Twp and Jason Elmes (Julie); her grandchildren, Brittany, Jenna, Kara, Olivia, Lillian, Maria, Jessica, Dylan, Matthew, Michael, Bryce, Emily, Sadie, Hanna and Sage; her sisters, Joyce Laubaugh (David) and Jean Jarrard; and her siblings-in-law, Jane Elmes-Crahall (Brinley) and William "Bill" Elmes (Elaine). She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
