She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond E. Smith and Janet M. Smith (Schell); her son-in-law Mark Maczuga; and her grandson Jason R. Shaffer. She is survived by: her husband Jason A. Shaffer; her daughters, Jodie Stradnick, Jennifer Maczuga and Berwick; her grandchildren, Anthony Ernst, Samantha Tyrrell, Nathan Maczuga and Matthew Maczuga; her brother Carl Smith (Loren Artz); her brother-in-law Jacob Shaffer (Jeanne); and her friend Diane Kurapatskie. She is also survived by many cousins; nieces and nephews.
