She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary (Bonner) and Raymond Shaffer, Sr.; and her brother Raymond Shaffer II. She is survived by: her husband Richard E. Thomas; her daughters, Glenda Lanning and Janelle Kalbach (Edward); her grandchildren, Adam Isherwood, Alicia Isherwood (Adam), Kylee Hoze and Kassidy Kalbach; her great grandchildren, Jayda, Marcus and Axel; and her siblings, Peggy Yost (Rod) and Jack Shaffer (Carol).

Memorial contributions are suggested to her family to help defray her final expense.
