He is survived by: his wife Sylvia F. Powlus (LaWall); and his children, Gene C. Powlus (Cindy), Joey A. Powlus (Sandy), Duane L. Powlus (Donna), Mark D. Powlus (Beth Ann), Wade L. Powlus (Leigh), Nikki Jo Kelly (Joe), TerriAnn Mazzitti (Chris) and NJ. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
