He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty J. Kibler (Fowler) and Frederick DeFrain, Sr.; his granddaughter Kayleygh DeFrain; and his siblings, David DeFrain and Louise DeFrain.
He is survived by: his wife Frances DeFrain (Bardo); his children, Diane Aikey (Rich), Shawn DeFrain (Kryssi), Sabrina DeFrain (Billy) and Candice Fisher (Sheldon); his brother James Defrain; his stepmother MayLou DeFrain; and his stepsiblings, Linda Mowery (Kaven) and Randy Kessler (Beth). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
