He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Hack and Bertha Shaner Hack (Smith); his wife Madelyn M. Hack (Whitenight); his son Robert Hack; his siblings, Harold Hack, Donald Hack, Robert Shaner and Ethel Shutlz (Shaner); and his stepsons, Jim Travelpiece, Jr. and Jay Travelpiece.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Jack Travelpiece (Sue) of Berwick and Nancy Williams of Nescopeck; his sisters-in-law, Jacquelyn Hack of Millville and Connie Hack of Bloomsburg; and his stepdaughter-in-law Audrey Travelpiece. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
