He was predeceased by: his father Paul G. Swope. He is survived by: his mother Mildred Swope (Schooley) of Needmore; his wife Susan Swope (DeShong) of Needmore; his children, Paul G. Swope (Janna) of Needmore, Karla S. Shadle (Joshua) of Harrisonville and Kelsi L. Ardiel (Taylor) of Needmore; his grandchildren, Thomas, Gavin Swope, Jonathan, Kaden Shadle, Randy Karl, Zoey and Grayson Ardiel (Tucker); and his siblings, E. Charles Swope (Tina) of Needmore, Kermit Swope (Sheila) of Warfordsburg and L. Charlene Post (James) of Needmore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Howard L. Sipes Funeral Home Inc. (873 Lincoln Way E, Mcconnellsburg, PA 17233). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Ridge Church of the Nazarene (5806 Pleasant Ridge Rd, Harrisonville, PA 17228).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Pleasant Ridge Church of the Nazarene building fund in memory of Karl.
