He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Yankowy and Julia Yankowy (Dupschek); his wife Catherine M. DeBona; his son William P. Yankowy; and his brothers, Stephen, Anthony and Valentine Yankowy.
He is survived by: his children, Nicholas J. Yankowy (Michele) of Easton, Michael A. Yankowy (Sharon) of Cresco, PA and Juliann Garcia (Robert) of Nazareth; his sisters, Mary Clement of Bethlehem and Elizabeth Traupman of Nazareth; and his grandchildren, Andrea, Tiffany, Brooke, Joshua, Kyle, Colleen, Brenda, Eric, Kiesha, Rob, Travis and Jessica. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
