He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Bowman Christman; his parents, Raymond J. Sr. Christman and Jenny Troxell Christman; and his siblings, Edward Christman, Evelyn Shankweiler and Elaine.

He is survived by: his children, Bruce Christman (Lynn) and Kay Marushak; his grandson Derek Marushak (Alissa); his great grandchildren, Allen, Evan Marushak, Jennifer Christman and Amy Marable (Da'Twan); and his sister Dorothy Duby.
