He is survived by: his children, Kim M. Ly, Nhi M. Ly (Ky Tien Mao), Si M. Ly (George Chin), Luc M. Ly (Lan Hong), Phoong Ly (Kien Ho), Jenny Ly (Ryan Au), Vicki Ly (Steve Trinh), Hoan Ly and Hoa Ly (Amy Luu). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.
