He was predeceased by: his father Joseph P. Miller, Sr.; and his brother John M. Miller, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Betty Miller (King) of Honey Brook; his sons, Joseph P. Miller, III, Jefferson J. Miller and Justin E. (Kristen Miller); his sisters, Joann Robinette, Diane (Jay Fisher) and Kathy; and his grandsons, Sabastian, Wyatt and Matthew. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
