He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John H Gardner and Mary J Ott Gardner; his wife Eleanor; his children, John E Gardner and Lori E Wollman; and his grandchildren, Lindsey Wade (John), Bob Gardner, Christopher Wollman (Jessica) and William Wollman (Meghan).
