He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Fries and Ruth Fries (Rodger); his grandchildren, Madison and Juliana; and his siblings, Joyce Kemmerer and Roger Fries.
He is survived by: his wife Miki Fries (Engler); his children, Marci Sank and John Fries; his grandchildren, Caleb Messinger, Alden Fries, Timothy Sank, Braxton Fries and Jillian Sank; and his siblings, Joan Boyer, Calvin Fries, Herbert Fries and David Fries.
