He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kies, Sr. and Pauline Kies Sigafoos (Pevorous); and his wife Adele W. Kies (Quick). He is survived by: his children, Harold Kies (Susan) of Bangor, PA and Sandra Muschock (Barry) of Portland, PA; his brothers, Richard and Bradley; his grandchildren, Jen Werkheiser (Marvin), Casey Kies, Kara Muschock and Nicole Evans; his great grandchildren, Ian, Alyssa and Caleb; and his great great grandchild Haley.
