He was predeceased by: his parents, David Sr. Kromer and Clara Kromer (Fritz); and his siblings, Ernest, Kenneth, David Jr., Willard, Leslie, Geraldine Getz, Gladys Betz, Grace Andrews and Claire Bush.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Eggert (Terry) and Shari Fields (Todd); and his granddaughter Sophia Fields. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
