She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Stemler and Dorothy Stemler (Dierkes). She is survived by: her husband Carl R. Strye Sr.; her children, Howell (Donna), Susan Kron (James) and Carl Jr. (Christine); her grandchildren, Katie Helbig (Ingo), Lisa Peckham (Matt), Laura Kron (Philippe Soret), Julie Kron and Carissa Strye (Eddie Keichel); her great grandchildren, Nevaeh Shugart, Lexi Vie, Louisa Helbig, Frederik Helbig, Corinne Soret and Mattias Soret; her brother Quinton H. Stemler; her nephews, Michael Stemler (Theresa), Quinton Stemler (Tiffany) and Jeffery Stemler (Michelle); and her niece Kathy Cirelli (Marty).
