He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd G. W. Hartzell and Katie Hartzell Fogel (Mitman); and his siblings, Betty Howell, Charlotte Coyle and Richard Hartzell.
He is survived by: his wife Winifred M. Hartzell (Roberts); his daughters, Marie Ashenfalder (Duane) of Nazareth, Beth Fehnel (Lee), Brenda Anthony (Mark) of Danielsville and Cindy Aungst (Tim) of Salisbury Township; his grandchildren, Matthew Hartzell (Hillary), Josh Ashenfalder (Mary), Rick Ashenfalder (Nicole), Amber Glass (Terry), Jonathan Fehnel, Justin Aungst (Brianna) and Rebecca Aungst; his great grandchildren, Serenity, Zachary, Ava, Hunter and Lincoln; his stepgreat-grandchild Rianna; and his brother-in-law Carl Roberts (Gail). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
