He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Smith and Frances Smith (Robinson); and his sister Barbara Smith. He is survived by: his significant other Marian Shup; and his siblings, John R. Smith (Vera), Murry Smith and Mary Johnson-Rivera (Ernest). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
