She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Stroud and Ruth Stroud (Swaggler); her daughter Cynthia S. Cowan; and her brothers, Charles, John, Thomas and James Stroud.
She is survived by: her husband Louis H. Cowan; her children, Julie Porter (William) of Natrona Heights, David Cowan (Vicki) of Lakewood and Linda Cowan of Cleveland, Ohio; her grandchildren, Beth (Rich), Dana (Justin), Douglas (Diatrah), Rachel, Natalie and Grant; and her great grandchildren, Nora, Emma, Evelyn and Ethan.
