He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank J. Ponteri and Rose M. Ponteri (Conte); his brother-in-law Thomas Stanzione; and his parents-in-law, Theodore and Helen Taraszewski.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Ponteri (Taraszewski); his sons, Richard J. Ponteri Jr. (Tami) of Natrona Heights and Scott Ponteri (Darla) of Cabot; his grandchildren, Malory, Derek and Nicholas Ponteri; his brother Joseph Ponteri (Susan) of Chicago; and his siblings-in-law, Floyd "Bucky" Taraszewski (Cheryle) of Natrona Heights and Marlene Stanzione of Natrona Heights. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
