He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman G. Jacobs and Helen Hazlett Jacobs; his wife Joan Schmitt; and his sister Mary Helen Talbot. He is survived by: his sons, William N. Jacobs of Miami, Fla., Kurt H. Jacobs (Brian) of Washington, D. C. and Mark R. Jacobs (Cathy) of Gibsonia; his grandchildren, Molly Moody (Ray), Ryan Jacobs, Jordan Jacobs, Hailey Jacobs and Emily Jacobs; and his great grandchildren, Travis and Brennan Moody. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
