He was predeceased by: his parent James R. Lucas. He is survived by: his parent Rita Ann Lucas (Whitlinger) of Lower Burrell; his wife Patricia "Patty" Lucas (Steri); his sons, Chris Lucas (Liz) of Erie and Stephen M. Lucas of Washington, D. C.; his grandsons, Benjamin Michael and Nathan Raymond Lucas; and his sisters, Dianne M. Lucas of Lower Burrell, Elizabeth A. Lucas of Oakmont and Jean B. Giles (Eric) of Woodbridge, VA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
