She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Garner and Mary Woodson Garner; her husband Charles E. Stewart, Sr.; and her siblings, John, David, Raymond Garner, Florence "Rita" Miller, Thelma "Tootsie" Morgan and Lillian Nevel.
She is survived by: her children, Charles E. Stewart, Jr. (Martha Collins) of West End, NC, Marcia Stewart of Lumberton, NC, Charlotte Stewart of Natrona Heights and Steven Stewart (Barbara) of New Kensington; and her sister Ruth Adele Garner of Verona. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
