He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Kort (Orkwiszewski) and Bernard Kort; and his parents-in-law, Emil J. Galetka and Emma E. Galetka. He is survived by: his wife Joan Kort (Galetka); his daughters, Elizabeth Ann Von Bargen (Christopher) of New Freedom, PA and Theresa Marie Moran (Santiago) of Winchester, KY; his grandson Connor James Von Bargen; and his sisters, Bernadette Dudeck (Robert) of Sarver, PA, Marlene Bolewitz (Leonard) of Sarver, PA and Sylvia Lowry (Eric) of Sarver, PA. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews and their spouses and children.
The Ladies of Charity of Guardian Angels Parish will hold services in the funeral home on Friday at 1:45 p.m. and the Knights of Columbus will hold services on Friday at 6:00 p.m.
