He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Bavetz and Amelia Bavetz (Zaremba); his wife Lois M. Bavetz (Moersch); and his siblings, Stan Zembrowski, Anthony Bavetz, Mary Rea, Rose Perman and Stella Barone.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Bavetz (Elaine) of Coconut Creek, Martin Bavetz (Becky) of Uniontown, Janet Valasek (Michael) of New Kensington, Joyce Keller (Tom) of Oakdale and Julie Monzi (Christopher) of Gettysburg. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and by numerous great-grandchildren.
