She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Obidowski and Anna Obidowski Lesczynski (Nowacki); her stepfather Frank Lesczynski; and her siblings, Regina Hatajik (Edward), Dorothy Ruggiero (John), John and Henry Obidowski.
She is survived by: her husband William S. Chelko; her children, Amy Sheaffer (Samuel) of Parks Township, Kevin Chelko (Teresa) of Huntersville, N. C. and Alan Chelko (Sharon Machuga) of Prague; and her great grandchildren, Magnus Chelko and Dominic Harris. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
