He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Collins and Catherine Collins (Kindler); his wife Grace Ann Collins (Colwell); and his siblings, Joseph, Peter Collins, Jennie Collins, Theresa Galippi, Margaret Glowatski, Agnes Rehner, Anna Collins and Mary Collins (Rose Bell).

He is survived by: his sons, F. Robert Collins (Cynthia) of North Huntingdon, Timothy E. Collins (Joyce) of Freedom and Joseph C. Collins (Darla) of Clarion; his grandchildren, Michael Collins (Casey), Kristin Ciara Collins, Marina K. Collins, Mallory K. Collins and Josh McAdoo (Lynnsey); and his great grandchildren, Cooper, Archer Collins, Molly and Karly McAdoo.
