She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto J. E. and Elma Grace Berz (Schuman); her former husband Charles R. Dawson; her husband Robert S. Acre; and her siblings, Roland Berz and Ellen Gavrish.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Dawson (Kathy Vantine) of Valencia, Roy Dawson (Luella) of Saxonburg, James Dawson (Margie) of Rimersburg, John Dawson (Michele) of Saxonburg, Elma Sutej (Thomas Sr) of Clinton Township and Martha Bowser (Bob Browne Sr) of Butler; her stepsons, Gary Acre of Worthington and Scott Acre (Betty) of Rockville, Maryland; her grandchildren, Thomas Jr., Michael, Daniel, George Sutej, Ralph, Jonathan, Jessica, Marissa Dawson, Viola Kathy Bruno and John J. C. Bowser; her stepgranddaughters, Valarie and Heather Acre; and her sister Avis Mae Neubert of Cabot. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; 2 step great-granddaughters.
