He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Frantz and Pauline Frantz (Doverspike); his wife Amelia J. Frantz (Frederick); his son Richard A. Frantz; and his siblings, John, Paul, Frank, James Frantz, Mary DeWitt, Cecelia Palun, Bernadette Frantz and Margaret Schrecengost.
He is survived by: his son Donald E. Frantz Jr. (Vicki) of Natrona Heights; his grandsons, Sean Patrick and Erik Joseph Frantz; and his siblings, Leslie Frantz (Wendy) of West Deer and Virginia Barch (Carl) of Natrona Heights. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
