He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Hoover and Julia Agnes Hoover (Gallagher); his brothers, Joseph and William Hoover; his stepbrother James Stewart; and his sister Dianne K. Schmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hoover (Gray); his nieces and nephews, Tammy Hurlbut (John Gross), Denise Price (John), Herbert McCorkle and James Hoover (Jennifer); his great-nephews, Benjamin, Mason and Nicholas; his sister-in-law Beverly McCorkle; and also Michael Consla. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Dean may be made to the Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley, 533 Linden Avenue, New Kensington, Pa. 15068.
