She was predeceased by: her parents, John Skuta and Katherine Petrek Skuta; her husband Daniel Szymkiewicz; her son Daniel Szymkiewicz Jr.; and her siblings, Joseph, Martin, Steve Skuta, Anna Petras, Josephine Jendrejeski and Helen Josefoski.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Lee Ann Zobrist (Zachary), Michael Szymkiewicz, Kate Szymkiewicz, Cole Szymkiewicz, Tyler Szymkiewicz, Dmitri Szymkiewicz and Victor Szymkiewicz; and her great grandchildren, Amelia and Zoe Zobrist.
